This Bull Moose was found on the last day of our adventure relaxing just outside a trailer park in the Grand Tetons. Had to wait about an hour or so for the big guy to finally get into a good position to shoot, photographically speaking, him.
I grew up in New York City and developed a serious interest in photography while serving in Vietnam where I purchased my first 35mm camera (Pentax). After returning to civilian life, and while working a 9 to 5 job, I took classes in the evening at the New York Institute of Photography. On weekends I roamed the streets of New York photographing the city. At night, I would set up a dark room, to develop black and white prints, working out of the kitchen of my apartment. Since moving to Florida in 1997, my focus has shifted to nature, landscape and wildlife while still keeping an open eye for other subject matter. I am also a short story author.
